Happy St Patty’s Day!
, 03 18th, 2009May the luck of the Irish be with yeh! Elana, Chloe, Taz and I paraded around in green, braving the rowdy crowds in Hoboken to boldly display the Irish heritage that none of us have. That still didn’t stop us.

It’s not easy being green!

Exhausting job
, 03 04th, 2009I worked from home yesterday (something I do when 1. I wake up late or 2. I’m too lazy to walk to the train or 3. It’s too cold outside…yesterday happened to be 4. All of the above). I really like working from home. Despite the obvious distractions – Elana, Chloe, Tazzie, a fully-stocked kitchen – I’m generally focused and really quite productive. Anyway, the reason for this brief post was to give you a small window into Elana’s day as a stay-at-home Mom…
…but before you get the impression her’s is an easy job. It ain’t. I get exhausted just watching her from behind the security of my laptop. Change, feed, play, exercise, lull to sleep, repeat. And, if her boss sleeps for more than 10 minutes, Elana may find time to run errands, do laundry or catch up on emails.
She’s a rockin’ Mom and I don’t tell her enough how appreciative I am of everything she does!
